先日、駅前のレコードが聴けるバーにふっと寄り道。流れてきたのが当アルバム、大貫妙子さんである。どちらかというと坂本龍一のピコピコアレンジから入ってしまってた自分からすれば、歌い出しから空気変えてくる生音ならではの静謐感にボロボロと崩れ落ちる固定観念、タイトル通りピュアに感動してしまったんです。マスターも大のお気に入り、当アコースティック編成での瑞々しくもリッチな歌に酔いしれねば。個人的原曲超え「横顔」「彼と彼女のソネット」が特に素晴らしい。
