82年ヒップホップ界の生き証人、アフリカ・バンバータ大先生が解き放ったクラシカルな大名盤。未だ色褪せる事を知らないタイトル曲「プラネット・ロック」は、クラフトワークを下敷きにコール＆レスポンスするダンスミュージックの解釈具合に、その先見過ぎる感覚に、驚きを隠せない自分がいるのです。いざテラへ、宇宙との交信を試みるブラックミュージックの本懐を体感。本日は碑文谷新年会、まさに私がプラネットロックでした。
